About the PTA

The Castro Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a non-profit organization funded entirely by the community and that helps support many activities and programs at Castro School. These includes field trips, the gardens, the school library and much more.

The PTA also advocates for kids at the government level, so our kids enjoy things like hot lunches, and hearing and vision testing at school.

We raise the funds needed to support these activities in many ways including the fall membership drive, our Walkathon and Silent Auction, rewards programs such as Amazon, eScript, and Box Top for Education, and more.
